The Ryerson Formula SAE Team has finished the chassis design and has begun fabrication on the chassis. We have also purchased a new engine which is being torn apart and stripped down for modification into the newly designed chassis. The marketing team has been pounding the streets to obtain new sponsorships and there are a few that are looking promising. We are always looking for new team members if you are interested in joining please send a email to fsae@ryerson.ca and let us know what part of the car you are interested in working on, and we can get you in touch with the manager of that system.

This past week the Ryerson Formula SAE team officially retired the 2006-2007 car (known as the RF-07) from competition. The RF-07 competed in two competitions this summer in Detroit, Michigan and Silverstone, England of which the brought home an impressive 31st overall finish in the Silverstone competition. Along with the RF-07 retiring the team says good-bye and congratulations to our graduating members including Adam Tomszewski, Olivier Daros, Franco Di Blasio, Cheryl Chan and Daniel Alonzo.

We're currently working on finalizing our designs for the new car. The building of the 2008 car will begin this coming monday. There's alot to do and we could always use more help. So if you're interested in joining the RFSAE 2007-2008 team email us at fsae@ryerson.ca
