Wednesday, March 19th, 2008 - Congratulations!
The Ryerson Formula SAE team would like to take this time congratulate our graduating members who received their iron rings today. It is because of dedication of these individuals the 2008 car shows so much potential. All of us on the team wish them the very best in their future endeavors. The graduating team members include:

Thursday, March 13th, 2008 - RFSAE at Discover Ryerson
The Ryerson Formula SAE team was out with the 2007 car today at the semi-annual Discover Ryerson event. Discover Ryerson is a day where prospective high school students can come learn and explore the beautiful Ryerson Campus. As Ryerson students, our team members are proud to be part of the Ryerson Community and we look forward to meeting new faces next September.

Friday, February 29th, 2008 - RFSAE at the Bug Push
As the RF-08 continues to take shape the Ryerson Formula SAE team joined the Ryerson Engineering Student Society (RESS) at their annual "bug push". The bug push is hosted by RESS annually during National Engineering Week. Every year, participants brave the elements and push a VW bug around the Ryerson Courtyard (known as the quad) for 24 consecutive hours. The event is used to raise money for The Hospital for Sick Children located in downtown Toronto. The team would like to take this opportunity to thank RESS for its continued support over the years. Thursday, February 21st, 2008 - Team Update
The team is very close to the completion of the car. The unveiling date will be announced soon. The chassis has been sent out for painting and the team is using the spring break to finish up the fine details. Next on the list will be to give the car proper shake downs to make sure every little nut and bolt is ready to go for competition. Keep checking back here for more updates!

Monday, January 7th, 2008 - Team Update
Our chassis is complete. The team has been working extremely hard and the car is progressing along quite well. Many new parts are en route to Ryerson University for the team to install on the new chassis that has recently been completed. The team is excited and motivated to get back after the Christmas break. Thursday, November 8th, 2007 - RFSAE at Discover Ryerson 2007
The Ryerson Formula SAE Team 2005 and 2007 cars were on display today at the semi-annual Discover Ryerson event held on campus. Thousands of secondary school students paraded by and asked questions about the cars as they went about the activities of the day.

Monday, October 15th, 2007 - Team Update
The Ryerson Formula SAE Team has finished the chassis design (the new chassis jig is shown above) and has begun fabrication on the chassis. We have also purchased a new engine which is being torn apart and stripped down for modification into the newly designed chassis. The marketing team has been pounding the streets to obtain new sponsorships and there are a few that are looking promising. We are always looking for new team members if you are interested in joining please send a email to fsae@ryerson.ca and let us know what part of the car you are interested in working on, and we can get you in touch with the manager of that system.

Monday, October 1st, 2007 - RF-07 RETIRES
This past week the Ryerson Formula SAE team officially retired the 2006-2007 car (known as the RF-07) from competition. The RF-07 competed in two competitions this summer in Detroit, Michigan and Silverstone, England of which the brought home an impressive 31st overall finish in the Silverstone competition. Along with the RF-07 retiring the team says good-bye and congratulations to our graduating members including Adam Tomszewski, Olivier Daros, Franco Di Blasio, Cheryl Chan and Daniel Alonzo.

September 13, 2007
We're currently working on finalizing our designs for the new car. The building of the 2008 car will begin this coming monday. There's alot to do and we could always use more help. So if you're interested in joining the RFSAE 2007-2008 team email us at fsae@ryerson.ca
