Starting today, until February 26th, Ryerson Formula SAE will be at the 2006 Canadian International Autoshow. Come see our display in Room 701 in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre!

With the new year in full swing, RFSAE is working diligently in the shop to build RF-06. Around the site, pictures from the team's history have been added to the History section. Look for a full picture gallery in the next few days!

Last night, Ryerson Formula SAE attended a school-wide celebration held by Ryerson's newly installed President, Sheldon Levy. We had the opportunity to congratulate him on his appointment and to take a team picture with the new President. His enthusiasm and Students-First philosophy has brought much optimism and excitement not only to the team but to the school in general.

We want to wish President Levy continued success throughout his tenure and we hope to work closer with him in the future.

We are pleased to report that over the past month, work has proceeded well on the 2006 RFSAE car.

In addition, RFSAE has been to the 2005 Ontario Universities' Fair, held September 30th-October 2nd, as part of Ryerson University's display presentation.

We would also like to welcome the newest members of the team, Cheryl Chan and Sarah Turnbull. Cheryl is a 3rd year Marketing student while Sarah is in 4th year Interior Design. Both bring a wealth of knowledge to the team and have already begun to be important contributors to our continued marketing and sponsorship efforts.

Formula SAE will be holding a meeting for those interested in joining Formula SAE. If you had signed the contact form during Orientation week, please attend this very important meeting.

Ryerson Formula SAE was out with Ryerson's new incoming first year students at the 2005 Orientation events. Thank you to all who expressed their interest in the team and the car. A meeting for all of you who had signed up will be set soon. Keep checking back for updates.

The team would also like to thank Ryerson's new President, Sheldon Levy, for showing his support and interest in helping the team grow.

Come out and see the 2004 and 2005 cars! The team will be out and about at the following events:

August 30th: We will be in The QUAD at Ryeson from 12PM-2PM at an Engineering Faculty Frosh event!

September 17-18: The team will be at Mosport for the First Annual FSAE Demonstration Time Trials at the British Empire Motor Club's 51st Annual Indian Summer Trophy Races.

October 1st: We will be participating in the 4th Annual University of Toronto Formula SAE Shootout also being held at Mosport.

After much time spent on designing and working out the bugs, the 2005-2006 online home of the Ryerson Formula SAE team is finally unveiled for viewing publicly! Keep checking back as improvements and changes will be continually be made to reflect continued development and maturity of the site and the activities of the team.
