Record Technology was founded in 1968, and provides a variety of services to clients that range from machining parts and production of prototypes to full machine assemblies complete with material certification, dimensional inspection reports, and certification for outside processes. Other services provided include top quality welding in our state of the art welding facility.

Ryerson Engineering Student Society

The Ryerson Engineering Student Society was established in 1988. Representing 2,100 full-time engineering undergraduate students, the Society was created to promote engineering and to voice the concerns of engineering students to the University's Administration.

Today, RESS organizes academic and social events geared toward engineering students, but open to all Ryerson Students. The Society provides previous years' midterms and exams for engineering courses, access to a refrigerator and microwave and low cost photocopying. RESS sends delegates to provincial and national conferences and engineering competitions. The Society provides funding to students in their final year to help subsidize the costs of final year design projects and theses; as well as to Engineering Student Design Teams. The Society’s long term goals are to improve student life on campus, and communicate with the Administration to improve the university experience for Engineering Students at Ryerson.

Founded in 1910, Sturgess Cycle has a very long history of providing excellent customer service. Though ownership has passed from the Sturgess family on to friends and associates in the motorcycle business, Ted Sturgess -- who is an accompished racer and Hall of Fame member -- still remains a part of the organization through both consulting and shop work. Sturgess Cycle is home to a variety of Motorcycles, ATV's, Snowmobiles as well as any other related parts and accessories. Along with an onsite service shop, popular brands like Honda, Triumph, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Polaris (ATV's & Snowmobiles) can be found in the store at 615 King Street West, Hamilton, Ontario.
