The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) gives students an opportunity to provide feedback to us about their university experience. For example, do students feel their coursework has more of an emphasis on memorizing facts than on applying theories to practical problems and new situations? Which issues does Ryerson most need to address in order to improve the academic/learning experience both inside and outside the classroom? Faculty members and administrators at Ryerson are always interested in the student perspective, and NSSE has become an integral part of planning and improvement initiatives at the University.
