As a proud Ryerson graduate (2003) and current Member of the Ryerson Senate (2015-2017), Meghan is looking to continue representing the Ryerson alumni community as a member of the Board of Governors. She is an active volunteer with Ryerson, with a strong connection to the alumni community.
As an undergraduate at Ryerson, Meghan served as a member of the Senate Academic Appeals Committee. In 2007, she graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Laws. At Western, Meghan was a student representative on the Faculty of Law’s academic appeals body. After Meghan was called to the Ontario bar in 2008, she completed a Master of Laws at the University of Toronto in 2010.
Meghan previously worked at Ryerson in Distance Education. This work experience, combined with her studies at three Ontario universities, gives her a solid understanding of the complexity of post-secondary education in Ontario. Meghan’s experience in communications, legal and management will be an asset to the Board as the University continues to grow and lead.
As a member of the Board, Meghan will support the University’s work in enhancing its standing and reputation as a city-building institution. Meghan looks forward shaping and guiding the changing student experience at Ryerson.
