Grades and Academic Standings for Winter 2012

Winter 2012 grades and academic standings will be posted to RAMSS at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, May 9, 2012.

Final Exams

Final exams begin on Monday, April 16 and continue through Saturday, April 28. Please check the online exam schedule to confirm the time and location of your exams as changes have been made since the schedule was first posted. Also please familiarize yourself with information on the web site regarding final examination policy and expectations prior to your first exam.

MTCC Monday, April 16 Only

There will be no access to the MTCC from the Skywalk on Monday, April 16th. There are two options for getting to Hall B (study/waiting area), of the north building from Union Station that day:
Option 1: Walk west on Front St. to the MTCC main foyer entrance (just past Lower Simcoe)
Option 2: Take the Skywalk from Union Station to the end of the long hallway where there is an escalator (and staircase) that leads up to the next level of the Skywalk. (Do not go up the stairs or escalator.) To the right of the escalator there is a set of stairs that leads to the street level. Go down the stairs and walk west on Front St. to the MTCC entrance. There is also an elevator from the hallway to the street level for use by those with mobility challenges. MTCC staff will be placing signs in the Skywalk directing everyone to the stairs that lead to the street.

Course Intentions Adjustment Period

Undergraduate students returning for studies in the coming academic year are required to submit Course Intentions to indicate their preferred courses for the Fall 2012 and Winter 2013 semesters. Students who submitted intentions in March have the opportunity to modify their requests after Winter 2012 grades and academic standings have been posted. As grades and standings will be posted on Wednesday, May 9, the adjustment period has been advanced to May 9 through May 18. Students who failed to submit intentions in March will have a final opportunity to do so during this period. In the coming year failure to submit course intentions may severely restrict your access to RAMSS enrollment functions.

New Transript Request Function on RAMSS

Ryerson is offering a new service to current students and recent graduates: Online Transcript Request via RAMSS. This convenient alternative allows you to by-pass line-ups and manual forms when requesting transcripts. You will be able to request, pay, and select the method of delivery for your transcripts. Log in to your RAMSS account and click on the Request Official Transcript link in the Student Center. After your request is submitted, you will be able to verify that it is completed. Transcript requests may continue to be submitted in-person, by mail or fax. For more information, please contact transcripts@ryerson.ca

Best wishes for a successful conclusion to the Winter semester!
