Mid-Year BreakDecember 24, 2012 to January 4, 2013

Ryerson University will close at the end of business day Friday, December 21, 2012 and re-open on Monday, January 7, 2013.

The holiday period provides an opportunity for a number of necessary maintenance tasks requiring significant power outages to be performed.  These outages, combined with the University's energy conservation program, mean the heating and ventilation systems will be operating at minimal levels that will result in very cool temperatures and thus will not be well suited for prolonged work.

If there is a need to enter a building during the University closure period, access control will be consistent with holiday closures.  [Faculty/staff One Cards are already programmed for holiday access; students must contact their Chair to obtain holiday access.]  Please contact Security at 5040 if you wish to enter alarmed areas so that system schedules can be adjusted accordingly.
