Building and Facilities

Campus updates

For up-to-date information on service outages on campus, visit the Campus Facilities and Sustainability website.

Using the Ryerson Mobile app, you can also download SmartCampus to receive real-time alerts about service disruptions in your favourite buildings.

Reporting immediate accessibility concerns

For custodial, cleaning, maintenance and repairs, or if you encounter any of the following:

  • an out-of-service elevator;
  • non-functional door opener;
  • accessible washroom in need of repairs;
  • accessible path that is not signed properly; or
  • snow removal that is preventing access;

please contact the Campus Facilities and Sustainability Helpdesk at 416-979-5091, fixit@ryerson.ca or complete the online Service Request Form.

Reporting barriers on campus

We encourage all students, staff and faculty to take a proactive approach in identifying physical barriers on campus.

If you identify a barrier, please notify the department responsible for the space. Involving the affected department is necessary, as there may already be a fix in progress, or the department may need time to plan the logistics of a larger-scale solution. If you’re not sure which department owns the space, the Campus Facilities and Sustainability Helpdesk can provide this information.

In addition to notifying the department, please also report the barrier to the Campus Facilities and Sustainability Helpdesk at 416-979-5091, fixit@ryerson.ca or complete the online Service Request Form.

Technology System Disruptions

To report a system disruption, please contact the CCS help desk at help@ryerson.ca or by phone at 979-5000 ext 6806 (from 8:00am to 9:30 pm Monday to Friday). After hours calls can be made to 416-979-5000 ext 7003.

Employees concerns regarding accommodation can be directed to their Human Resources Management Consultant.
