Training
All employees of Ryerson, including faculty, instructors, staff, volunteers, contractors, those who develop policies, practices, and procedures related to provision of services, and any other person that interacts with people on Ryerson's behalf, are required by law to complete accessibility training. Our training consists of various components.
For more information about training requirements, please read Training and the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service: Questions and Answers.
Ryerson eLearning Modules - Mandatory
Must be completed within two weeks of start of work. Alternate formats of training will be available where necessary. If you are experiencing difficulties, please see this Troubleshooting FAQ.
Awareness Training - Voluntary
No Barriers@Ryerson, which began in June 2007, is a joint venture between students, staff and faculty to systematically eliminate, through education, all existing barriers within the Ryerson community. The program promotes an inclusive and accessible Ryerson through raising awareness of disability and disability-related issues.
