There are a group of UNIX servers available to faculty and students that are part of the Matrix system. These are accessible from lab workstations throughout the campus and from home via the Internet.

malthus.acs.ryerson.ca is dedicated to providing statistics applications and research data sets. Access is available for students who are taking specific courses.

turing.acs.ryerson.ca hosts a number of programming languages and the DB2 and Oracle relational database management systems. Access is available for students who are taking specific courses.

snapper.dcn.ryerson.ca provides web application development services including the ability to write CGI programs in Perl and other languages. Snapper is also designed to run computer-intensive engineering and GIS applications. Access is available for students who are taking specific courses.
