Student Learning Centre (SLC)

Not only has the Student Learning Centre transformed the corner of Yonge and Gould - this library of the 21st century is taking the experience of learning and collaboration to new heights. During your guided tour you’ll learn about the unique features, functions and design elements that make the SLC a world-class destination. SLC student staff will explain how students were involved in the early building stages, and how they continue to stay involved today.


Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC)

Enjoy guided tours of this state-of-the-art facility which features: a multi-purpose court for basketball and volleyball with retractable seating for over 1,000; a fitness centre; studios; high-performance gym and full sized ice rink with seating for 2,620.

*This guided tour will be led by ERA Architects, the team that helped preserve and incorporate the spirit and elements of Maple Leaf Gardens into the state-of-the-art facility that it is today. The 11:00 am tour capacity is 30 people.

Enjoy this guided tour about a century of Canada’s history and its representation in the leading American “newspaper of record.” The exhibition highlights images of major political events and conflicts, iconic landscapes across the nation, sports heroes, candid reportage on the lives of diverse communities, and portraits of notable Canadians. Space is limited.

The Ryerson Library Collaboratory

This unique library initiative, opening September 2017 in the space previously occupied by the Ryerson Archives, is designed to connect faculty research needs with the Ryerson Library's digital and physical technology resources. It will support faculty-led digital learning and interdisciplinary research projects with student participation. Staff and students will be available to discuss the vision as it evolves.


The Isaac Olowolafe Jr. Digital Media Experience Lab

The DME Lab helps students enhance their technology skills through workshops, peer tutoring and one-on-one instruction. It provides access to specialized equipment, emerging technologies and experiential learning opportunities. Students will be on hand for discussion and demonstrations.
