Hosted by Ryerson University Alumni Relations, as part of the Blackboard to Boardroom event series.
Shannon Lee Simmons has been offering valuable financial advice and education to Ryerson Alumni for the past two years; selling out events and making intimidating topics fun, easy and entertaining.
What do you when you have your money matters in order?
You’ve saved or you're saving, and now it's just sitting there!
How do you get it working, the best way possible, for YOU!?
Join fellow Ryerson alumni on November 15th, when Shannon will once again lead an engaging, honest and educational seminar, about this very situation!
As Shannon says:
“This is Investing 101 y’all! Learn what all the jargon means, how to avoid being ripped off and what investment platform makes sense for you! Eventually, we all need to leave the safety our high interest savings accounts and deep dive into the stock market. Let me make this less terrifying for you. I got you!”
This session is geared towards recent graduates learning the basics of financial management and strategies for overcoming debt.
What alumni had to say about Shannon last year:
“Shannon was a fabulous speaker. She made the event fun and educational.”
“I found this seminar to be very useful. Shannon was filled with knowledge and she kept it funny at the same time.”
“Shannon was the highlight of the event for me. She was very outgoing, informative and helpful to individuals who just graduated from university.”
The Blackboard to Boardroom event series, in partnership with TD Insurance, is designed to help our newest grads and young alumni make the transition from student life to the rest of their lives!
