This is the beginning of a very exciting time in your life and we were so happy to be a part of the last two weeks of Orientation and Welcome. Your energy and enthusiasm has been contagious!

During your next 4 years you will hear the words alumni, alumnus, alumna and alumnae’.

What do they mean?

If you are male, you’re an alumnus.
A group of men together, are alumni.
If you’re female, you’re alumna.
A group of women are called alumnae.
A group of men and women are alumni again.

1.       Get involved.

This is your time to shine! Get involved with all you can during your time at Ryerson and stay involved after you leave! As we like to say, you are students for a short time and alumni for a lifetime. Get to know us, volunteer for our events, learn about what we do!

2.       Stay in Touch.

Let us know what you are doing during your time here and keep us up-to-date with where you live and all that you achieve when you graduate! There is a whole world of opportunities that come into your life by being alumni of Ryerson University and we want to be able to tell you about them!

3.       Enjoy the Privileges.
