Reunion Planning

Alumni Weekend is the perfect opportunity to re-connect and with the help of Alumni Relations, it has never been easier. We’ve already planned events, campus tours, and receptions that you and your classmates can attend. All we need are volunteers to act as reunion coordinators for class years. Contact us to find out just how simple, fun and rewarding this process can be.

For a no-fuss reunion plan, simply book a table for your group at The Ryerson Dinner.

The entire class of 1953, 1963, 1973, 1988 and 2003 will be honoured at the Anniversary Reception during Alumni Weekend.

Want to plan a reunion, but can’t make it happen over Alumni Weekend? No problem!  We can still help, contact us.

Fashion Class of '61

“Found reunion planning quite simple, following guidance from Alumni Relations. Was very rewarding as reunited with over 75% of my classmates and enjoyed an astounding afternoon reception and evening of fine dining and entertainment.” Diane Bickley Fashion ‘61

Architectural Technology Class of '58

"As my fiftieth anniversary approached, I took it upon myself to test the waters with respect to a class reunion. At first I was a little apprehensive, wondering if there would be any interest after half a century. The response was overwhelming and many volunteered to assist.
From that point on, the planning was quite simple, thanks to the good office of Ryerson’s Alumni Relations. The whole experience was most rewarding and I would encourage anyone thinking of a class reunion to get involved. The one piece of advice I would offer is to start planning early, at least a year in advance." Ernest Huggins, Arch. ‘58

“Once my classmates showed enthusiasm for the idea of a reunion, it was easy to sort out the details. Then, on the night of the event, it was immensely satisfying to see all those familiar faces coming through the door. Catching up with everyone, watching my classmates catch up with each other, and falling into the familiar patter from those years ago, made me feel very proud and very grateful.” Andrew Leitch, Journalism ‘92
