Learning and Teaching

The Faculty of Arts presents some unique opportunities in areas of learning and teaching. Most of our degree programs are new, built on the foundation of a long and valuable experience of teaching liberal arts courses for students in professional programs. Many of our programs have a strong interdisciplinary basis and an explicit commitment to helping students acquire the skills they require for university success. The commitment of Ryerson University to advancing experiential learning presents us with exciting challenges as we work to develop appropriate forms of practice and reflection for liberal arts students.
