Student Project Grants
Student Project Grants
The Faculty of Arts Student Project Grants provide financial support for student-initiated extra-curricular projects and activities that promote experiential learning and student engagement in the Faculty of Arts. (Some examples include: planning or attending a conference; community-building projects; cultural activities; travel for a specified educational purpose or activity; creative/performance art events and activities, etc. See Past Recipients for examples of projects that have been funded.)
All else being equal, projects that clearly demonstrate the benefits to the applicant(s), the Faculty of Arts, and/or the University, and that engage other students will be given priority. Applicants must demonstrate that they have attempted to secure funding from other sources. Normally, priority will be given to students who have not previously received an award.
This grant program is a bi-annual competition, with applications due in January and October.
| For Winter 2012, the application form along with the projected budget and any other additional information must be placed in the DROP BOX located outside the Arts Student Experience Centre (POD 344) no later than 4:00pm on Tuesday February 7th 2012. If you require the Application Form in another format please contact Stephan Tang at stang@arts.ryerson.ca. |
