Faculty of Arts Accelerator Grant
Deadline: October 31
The Arts Accelerator Grant will support established (post-tenure) researchers and advance their research program to the next level of excellence. The Arts Accelerator grant of up to $7,000 per year will provide a critical push to support the completion of peer-reviewed publications or the completion of a study critical for an external grant application. This grant will support faculty members who already hold high quality external funding while consistently teaching large classes (over multiple semesters).

Faculty of Arts Knowledge Dissemination Grant
Deadline: Continuous Intake
The new Knowledge Dissemination Grant provides funding to support local, national and international conferences. Grants of up to $2,500 each will be awarded to departments or faculty to host conferences at the university. This grant will further advance our reputation and recognition by focusing additional resources to support major national and international conferences. In turn, this will attract exceptional local and international students, faculty and staff and will expand our opportunities and reach to our local, national and global partners.

Faculty of Arts Ideas Grant
Deadline: October 31
The Arts Ideas Grant will support interdisciplinary research incubation. The Faculty will provide funding of up to $2,500 to support faculty teams that engage in interdisciplinary research that includes at least three (3) RFA faculty from two (2) or more Arts departments over a period of no more than 12 months (external partners in academia, community, government, or industry are welcome).

The Arts Indigenous Grant will expand our reach and connection to Indigenous research and will help establish partnerships with Indigenous groups and communities. A limited number of grants of up to $2,500 will be provided.
