Research 

The Faculty of Arts offers, by competition, conference travel and research grants to its faculty members, and grants to assist in publication costs. There are normally 2 Travel Grant competitions per year, with deadlines of October 31 and March 31, and 1 New Initiative Award (NIA) competition, with deadline of March 31. Faculty members may apply for support to cover publication costs of academic work at any time. For more information, see the Faculty of Arts Policy on Internal Grants.

OFFICE OF VICE PRESIDENT, RESEARCH AND INNOVATION

Ryerson's Office of Vice President, Research and Innovation (OVPRI) conducts a number of research grant competitions that may be of particular interest to members of the Faculty of Arts: the SSHRC SIG grants (small research grants), New Faculty SRC Development Grants, the Ryerson Creative Fund, and the Fall/Winter and Summer Research Assistant programs.
