Research 

The Faculty of Arts offers, by competition, conference travel and research grants to its faculty members, and grants to assist in publication costs. There are normally 2 travel grant competitions per year, with deadlines of October 15 and March 15, and 2 research grant competitions, with deadlines of November 15 and March 15. Faculty members may apply for support to cover publication costs of academic work at any time. For more information, consult my.ryerson.ca

OFFICE OF RESEARCH SERVICES GRANTS

Ryerson's Office of Research Services (ORS) conducts a number of research grant competitions that may be of particular interest to members of the Faculty of Arts: the SSHRC SIG grants (small research grants), New Faculty SRC Development Grants, the Ryerson Creative Fund, and the Fall/Winter and Summer Research Assistant programs. ORS is also the central information source for larger external grants such as those awarded by SSHRC, CIHR, NSERC, etc. Please consult the ORS website at www.ryerson.ca/ors
