WORK-STUDY OPPORTUNITIES

Looking for a way to make some money and gain academically-relevant work experience? The Work-Study Program helps students meet their educational costs by working part-time on campus. Positions are available in the Student Experience Centre and in the academic departments. This is a great way to gain academically-relevant work experience and get to know other students, faculty, and staff!

"I never got to participate so closely with both my peers at Ryerson and the community. It opened up my eyes to a lot of what happens in the city that surrounds our campus. The work study placement definitely allowed me to apply and develop my skills in real life situations while building real life relationships."
- Michelle Thansingh, Arts and Contemporary Studies

"Working as a Community Facilitator for Service Learning in the Faculty of Arts has enabled me to gain an edge on my Arts degree by giving me more practical experience and developing my skills in many ways. It has enriched my academic experience by allowing me to pursue work in different aspects of undergraduate careers. Overall, it has helped me to not only give back to my school, but to also give back to my community."
- Sid Naidu, Arts and Contemporary Studies
