ACS News 2010

The Department of History and the Arts and Contemporary Studies program within Ryerson’s Faculty of Arts are most pleased to celebrate the success of one of their outstanding students, Kate Grisdale, winner of the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies (CASIS) Weller Memorial Essay Prize.

ACS Student to do  Relief Work in New Orleans
Three ACS students have been selected to go on exchange for the 2010-2011 academic year through the Ryerson Exchange Program.
Third year ACS student Idil Omar has been chosen as the recipient of the Marie-Joseph Angelique Award.
During Reading Week, eight ACS students travelled to Peru to help with community relief by restoring a school in the community of Urubamba, Peru as part of the Alternative Spring Break program (ASB).
On February 26, 2010, the Faculty of Arts hosted the third annual Arteries Conference, an undergraduate research conference that showcases the work of some of Ryerson’s top-level undergraduates.
