Monday, January 6Classes commence for Full- and Part-time programs. Note: for Part-time program students, some courses will begin on Monday, January 13, see your Winter timetable for further information.

Monday, January 13Final date for admission, re-admission or re-instatement to a Full-time degree program or as a Special Student for the Winter 2003 term.
Week of January 13Winter Carnival activities week; classes to continue as scheduled.

Friday, January 17Final date to withdraw from a program and be eligible for full refund of fees ($100 non-refundable for new approvals).

Friday, February 7Final date to drop a course(s) and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable. A 50% drop charge applies if a course drop results in a lower fee range. Please refer to Refund Schedule.
Friday, February 7Final date to withdraw from a program and be eligible for a 50% refund of Winter 2003 fees.
Monday, February 10A 100% drop charge applies if a course drop results in a lower fee range ó No fees refunded.
Friday, February 14Final date to officially drop a two-term course(s) in good Academic Standing (no refund of Winter 2003 fees). Students dropping a two-term course(s) after this date will be assigned a failing grade.
Friday, February 14Final date to submit a review for OSAP funds for the current September to April academic year.
Week of February 24Study Week.
Friday, February 28Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Winter 2003 with a $25 non-refundable late fee. No Winter term applications will be accepted after this date.
Friday, February 28A $100 charge will be levied for each Winter 2003 course or grade added to a studentís academic record after this date.
Friday, February 28Final date to submit an application for re-admission or re-instatement into a program for the Fall 2003 term (for guaranteed consideration).
Friday, March 7Final date to officially drop a one-term course(s) in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Students dropping a one-term course(s) after this date will be assigned a failing grade.
Friday, March 7Final date to withdraw from a program for the Winter 2003 term in good Academic Standing (no refund of Winter 2003 fees).

Friday, March 14Final date to apply for Spring 2003 Convocation (with applicable late fee).
Friday, March 28Final date to cancel an Application to Graduate for Spring 2003 Convocation.
Wednesday, April 2Final date to appeal mid-term marks given for course work graded prior to final mark (i.e. inability to complete term work).
Friday, April 11Classes end for Full- and Part-time programs.
Note: for Part-time program students, some classes May end on Saturday, April 20.
Friday, April 11Final date to clear any previous term(s) outstanding grades for Spring 2003 Convocation.
Week of April 14Classes end for Continuing Education and some Part-Time courses, Note: for Part-time students, some classes May end on Saturday, April 20.

Wednesday, April 30Winter term examination period including Saturdays, April 19 and 26, but excluding Good Friday, April 18.
Friday, April 18Good Friday (University closed).
Friday, April 25Deadline for clearing any outstanding debt, library book/fine or other borrowed property in excess of $5 to ensure that Winter 2003 grades are not withheld.
Wednesday, April 30Official end of term.
