PSYCHOLOGY MINOR

The objective of the Minor in Psychology is to give students whose careers are intimately concerned with the welfare of the individual, more understanding of psychological processes and to equip these students with information concerning how to apply principles of psychology in a community setting. The Minor is also intended to provide students with more competitive qualifications, thereby enhancing their career advancement potential.

To receive the Minor, a student must complete six one-term courses(or equivalent) from the following course of study:

PSY 011 or PSY 102 plus one of PSY 302, PSY 402 PSY 808

The equivalent of three one-term courses from the following:

PSY 024 PSY 217 PSY 602 PSY 806 PSY 040 PSY 302* PSY 802 PSY 204 PSY 402* PSY 805 * if not chosen as a required course in the Minor.
