PLN 103Physiology: Physiology ILect: 3 hrs.
Physiology I is the first of two physiology courses designed to introduce systems and processes of the body (gastrointestinal, immune/integumentary, endocrine, and fluid and electrolyte balance) and to develop an appreciation of the holistic nature of the body through the study of adaptation, homeostasis and interrelationships among the systems. Issues of practice and policy will be developed throughout the course.

PLN 203Physiology: Physiology IILect: 3 hrs.
Building on the introductory course, Physiology II will focus on the nervous, sensory, musculoskeletal, circulatory and respiratory systems and will enhance the student’s capacity for critical thinking related to both theoretical and applied aspects of physiology.
Prerequisite: PLN 103.
