FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTSTo receive assistance from the Ontario Student Assistance Program, a student must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident.Students with student authorization or minister's permits are not eligible to apply for OSAP or the Canada Student Loan Program because of Immigration Regulations requiring sufficient funds for self support.
