MIDWIFERY

Ryerson's baccalaureate part-time program in Midwifery began in August, 1993.
The program is jointly administered by McMaster, Laurentian and Ryerson universities.
The curriculum includes courses from basic sciences, social sciences, health sciences, women's studies, electives and clinical courses. Distance learning includes print-based courses teleconference tutorials and Web CT.
The suggested time to complete the program is between four and seven years.
Periods of full-time participation are necessary for clinical placements.
