OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MINOR
The Occupational Health and Safety Minor will prepare students for their responsibilities in protecting workers from risks and hazards in the workplace. It will find immediate application in both public and private sectors, and especially in the increasingly important area of "due diligence", which has legal ramifications for everyone in supervisory or management roles.
To receive the Minor a student must complete the following course of study:
OHS 208 OHS 608
OHS 421* OHS 718*
OHS 508 OHS 777
* Equivalent courses are also offered through the Continuing Education Division. OHS 421
is offered through Continuing Education as CVOH 217. OHS 718 is offered as CVOH 215.
