DEPARTMENT OF POLITICS, SCHOOL OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND SCHOOL OF JUSTICE STUDIES
The Department of Politics offers a range of courses in political science to virtually all programs at Ryerson. These courses cover five principal subject areas: Canadian politics, municipal government, political theory, comparative and international politics and public administration/policy. In all cases the department's aim is to provide students with a practical knowledge and a critical understanding of political institutions, systems and ideologies. The Department of Politics offers a degree program in Public Administration and Governance and in Justice Studies, both of which are offered in the part-time mode, details of which are provided elsewhere in the calendar.
