FNC 200 FNC 400
FNC 200 Consumer Studies: Consumer Behaviour Lect: 3 hrs. This course will provide students with an understanding of consumer behaviour in a market context. Both descriptive and normative views of consumer behaviour will be examined, with an emphasis on their importance in marketing practices and for policy analysis. Prerequisite: MKT 100. Exclusion: MKT 502.
FNC 400 Consumer Studies: Personal Financial Management Lect: 3 hrs. The course is intended to provide a comprehensive framework for achieving optimal financial health both personally and professionally. Through application and case study analysis, students will examine a range of financial vehicles with special consideration given to budgeting, personal tax considerations, retirement planning, managing the investment portfolio, and consumer credit. Recommended back-ground in accounting and/or micro-economics.
