FALL 2004
Friday, June 4 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Fall 2004 term. A $25 non-refundable, late fee will apply after this date until September 10.
Week of June 21 Classes commence for Continuing Education, Summer 2004 term.
Thursday, July 1 Canada Day (University closed).
Friday, July 2 University closed.
Monday, July 5 Final date to clear all outstanding financial records prior to the 2004-2005 academic year, otherwise no further registration will be permitted in Undergraduate courses.
Friday, July 9 Final date to apply for Fall 2004 Convocation (no late fee). A non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until August 13.
Monday, August 2 Civic Holiday (University closed).
Friday, August 13 Final date to apply for Fall 2004 Convocation (with applicable late fees).
Friday, August 27 Final date to cancel an Application to Graduate for Fall 2004 Convocation.

Fall term Undergraduate registration and orientation activities. Continuing Education registration continues until Saturday, September 11 (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Monday, September 6 Labour Day (University closed).
Tuesday, September 7 Classes commence for full- and part-time Undergraduate programs. Note: for part-time programs, some courses will begin on Monday, September 13, see your Fall timetable for further information.
Friday, September 10 Final date for admission, re-admission or re-instatement to a full-time Undergraduate degree program or as a Special Student for the Fall 2004 term.
Friday, September 10 Final date for payment of fees for the academic year (Fall and Winter terms) for Undergraduate programs, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, September 10 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Fall 2004 with the $25 non-refundable late fee. (Fall 2004 approvals exempt). No Fall term applications will be accepted after this date.
Friday, September 10 Final date to petition for an Aegrotat grade for Spring/Summer 2004.
Friday, September 10 Final date to request missing Spring/Summer 2004 Undergraduate grades.
Friday, September 10 Final date to appeal Spring/Summer 2004 final Undergraduate grades or Academic Standing.
Monday, September 13 Classes commence for Continuing Education courses.

Dates for submission of Day Access requests to the Continuing Education Division Office.
Friday, September 17 Final date to add Undergraduate courses, or change course sections for Fall 2004.
Friday, September 17 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program and be eligible for full refund of fees ($400 non-refundable for new approvals, full-time programs; $200 non-refundable for new approvals, part-time programs).
Friday, September 17 Final date to drop an Undergraduate course(s) and be eligible for full refund of fees (if a course drop results in a lower fee range). Please refer to Refund Schedule, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Saturday, September 18 A 50% drop charge applies if an Undergraduate course drop results in a lower fee range. Please refer to Refund Schedule.
Friday, September 24 Final date to clear all outstanding graduation requirements to be eligible for Fall 2004 Convocation (academic and financial).
Saturday, September 25 Homecoming festivities.
Friday, October 8 Final date to submit an appeal for OSAP funds for any trimester, co-op or other programs with a December year end.
Friday, October 8 Final date to submit OSAP application to be eligible to receive funding for the current September to April academic year. Applications submitted after this date will eligible to receive OSAP funding from the date the application was received.
Friday, October 8 Final date to drop an Undergraduate course(s) and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable. A 50% drop charge applies if a course drop results in a lower fee range. Please refer to Refund Schedule, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, October 8 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program and be eligible for a 50% refund of Fall 2004 fees, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE Courses).
Saturday, October 9 A 100% drop charge applies if a course drop results in a lower fee range - No fees refunded.
Monday, October 11 Thanksgiving (University closed).
Week of October 11 Course Request changes for the Winter 2005 term.
Wednesday, October 20 Fall 2004 Convocation.
Friday, November 5 Final date to submit an application for re-admission or re-instatement into an Undergraduate program for the Winter 2005 term (for guaranteed consideration).
Friday, November 5 A $100 charge will be levied for each Fall 2004 Undergraduate course or grade (or previous term's final grade) added to a student’s academic record after this date.
Friday, November 5 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Winter 2005. A $25 non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until January 21, 2005.
Friday, November 12 Final date to officially drop an Undergraduate one-term course(s) in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in one-term courses after this date, will result in a failing grade, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, November 12 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program for the Fall 2004 term in good Academic Standing (no refund of Fall 2004 fees).
Monday, December 6 Classes end for full- and part-time Undergraduate programs. Note: for part-time program students, some classes may continue until Monday, December 20.
Wednesday, December 8 to
Saturday, December 18
Fall term Undergraduate examination period, including Saturdays, December 11 and December 18.
Week of December 13 Classes end for Continuing Education, except for Monday classes which will end on Monday, December 20.
Friday, December 17 Deadline for clearing any outstanding debt, library book/fine, or other borrowed property in excess of $5 to ensure that Fall 2004 grades are not withheld.
Saturday, December 18 Official end of term for Undergraduate programs.

Sunday, January 2
Mid-Year (Christmas) Break, the University will close at the end of Thursday, December 23 and re-open at 8 a.m. Monday, January 3.
