Winter term registration and orientation activities for full- and part-time Undergraduate programs; Continuing Education registration continues until Saturday, January 8, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Wednesday, January 5 Classes commence for full- and part-time Undergraduate programs. Note: for part-time program students, some courses will begin on Monday, January 10, see your Winter timetable for further information.
Friday, January 7 Final date for payment of fees assessed for the Winter term for Undergraduate programs (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, January 7 Final date for admission, re-admission or re-instatement to a full-time Undergraduate degree program or as a Special Student for the Winter 2005 term.
Monday, January 10 Classes commence for Continuing Education courses.

Friday, January 14
Dates for submission of Day Access requests to the Continuing Education Office.
Friday, January 14 Final date to request missing Fall 2004 Undergraduate grades.
Friday, January 14 Final date to appeal Fall 2004 final Undergraduate grades or Academic Standing.
Friday, January 14 Final date to petition for an Aegrotat grade for the Fall 2004 term.
Week of January 17 Winter Carnival activities week; classes to continue as scheduled.
Friday, January 21 Final date to add Undergraduate courses, or change course sections for Winter 2005, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, January 21 Final date to drop an Undergraduate course(s) and be eligible for full refund of fees (if a course drop results in a lower fee range). Please refer to Refund Schedule, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, January 21 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program and be eligible for full refund of fees ($100 non-refundable for new approvals).
Friday, January 21 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Winter 2005 with a $25 non-refundable late fee. No Winter term applications will be accepted after this date.
Friday, January 21 Final date to apply to graduate for Spring 2005 Convocation (no late fee). A non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until March 11.
Saturday, January 22 A 50% drop charge applies if an Undergraduate course drop results in a lower fee range. Please refer to Refund Schedule, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, January 28 Final date to apply for OSAP for the current September to April academic year. Please note that funding assistance may be prorated based on when the application is received.
Friday, February 11 Final date to drop an Undergraduate course(s) and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable. A 50% drop charge applies if a course drop results in a lower fee range. Please refer to Refund Schedule, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, February 11 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program and be eligible for a 50% refund of Winter 2005 fees.
Saturday, February 12 A 100% drop charge applies if an Undergraduate course drop results in a lower fee range. No fees refunded.
Friday, February 18 Final date to officially drop an Undergraduate two-term course(s) in good Academic Standing (no refund of Winter 2005 fees). Non-attendance in two-term courses after this date, will result in a failing grade, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, February 18 Final date to submit a review for OSAP funds for the current September to April academic year.
Monday, February 28 Final date to submit an application for re-admission or re-instatement in an Undergraduate program for the Fall 2005 term (for guaranteed consideration).
Week of February 21 Study Week for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
Friday, March 4 A $100 charge will be levied for each Winter 2005 Undergraduate course or grade (or previous term's final grade) added to a student’s academic record after this date.
Friday, March 11 Final date to officially drop an Undergraduate one-term course(s) in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in one-term courses after this date, will result in a failing grade, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses).
Friday, March 11 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program for the Winter 2005 term in good Academic Standing (no refund of Winter 2005 fees).
Friday, March 11 Final date to apply for Spring 2005 Convocation (with applicable late fee).
Weeks of March 14
and March 21
Course Requests for Fall 2005 and Winter 2006.
Friday, March 24 Final date to cancel an application to graduate for Spring 2005 Convocation.
Friday, March 25 Good Friday (University closed).
Week of April 11 Classes end for Continuing Education courses (except for Friday classes which end on April 22).
Tuesday, April 12 Classes end for full- and part-time Undergraduate programs. Note: for part-time students, some classes may end on Saturday, April 15.
Wednesday, April 13 to
Friday, April 29
Winter term Undergraduate examination period including Saturdays, April 16 and 23.
Friday, April 15 Final date to clear any previous term(s) outstanding grades for Spring 2005 Convocation.
Friday, April 29 Deadline for clearing any outstanding debt, library book/fine or other borrowed property in excess of $5 to ensure that Winter 2005 grades are not withheld.
Friday, April 29 Official end of term for Undergraduate programs.
