SPRING/SUMMER 2005
Monday, May 2 Undergraduate Program and Continuing Education Classes commence for the Spring 2005 term, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, May 6 Final date for payment of Spring/Summer 2005 fees. Friday, May 6 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program and be eligible for a full refund of fees ($200 non-refundable for new approvals). Consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines. Friday, May 6 Final date to drop an Undergraduate Spring course(s) and be eligible for a full refund of fees (if a course drop results in a lower fee range). Please refer to Refund Schedule, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, May 6 Final date to clear all outstanding graduation requirements to be eligible for Spring 2005 Convocation (academic and financial). Monday, May 9 Final date to add Undergraduate courses, or change course sections for courses that begin in May, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, May 13 Final date to drop an Undergraduate one-term course(s) that began in May and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, May 13 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program in good Academic Standing and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, May 20 Final date to drop an Undergraduate two-term course(s) in good Academic Standing and be eligible for a 50% refund if applicable, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Monday, May 23 Victoria Day (University closed). Week of May 23 Final week to drop an Undergraduate one-term course(s) beginning in May in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in one-term courses after this date, will result in a failing grade, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, June 3 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Fall 2005 without a late fee. (A $25 non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until September 3). Monday, June 6 to
Friday, June 17Spring 2005 Convocation, specific ceremony dates to be announced. Friday, June 10 Final date to request missing Winter 2005 Undergraduate grades. Friday, June 10 Final date to petition for an Aegrotat Grade for Winter 2005 term. Friday, June 10 Final date to appeal Winter 2005 final Undergraduate grades or Academic Standing. Week of June 13 Classes end for one-term Undergraduate courses that began in May (June 20 for Monday and/or Wednesday classes). Week of June 20 Undergraduate Program and Continuing Education classes commence for the Summer 2005 term. Friday, June 24 Final date to drop a Summer 2005 Undergraduate course and be eligible for a full refund of fees (if course drop results in a lower fee range). Please refer to Refund Schedule, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, July 1 Canada Day (University closed). Monday, July 4 Final date to drop an Undergraduate one-term course(s) that began in June and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Week of July 4 Final week to add Undergraduate courses, or change course sections for courses that began in June, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Friday, July 8 Final date to apply for Fall 2005 Convocation (no late fee). A non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until August 12. Week of July 11 Final week to drop an Undergraduate two-term course(s) beginning in May in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in a two-term course(s) after this week, will result in a failing grade, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Week of July 11 Final week to drop an Undergraduate one-term course(s) beginning in June in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in a one-term course(s) after this week, will result in a failing grade. Week of July 11 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program, in good Academic Standing for course(s) that began in June (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in two-term course(s) after this week, will result in a failing grade, consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Monday, August 1 Civic Holiday (University closed). Friday, August 12 Final date to apply for Fall 2005 Convocation (with applicable late fee). Week of August 15 Classes end for one-term Undergraduate courses that began in June, and two-term courses that began in May, (consult CE calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for CE courses). Note: Students taking courses through Continuing Education should consult the Continuing Education calendar for applicable dates and deadlines.
