INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS

Administered by the Department of Economics

DEGREE: Four years of study following Grade 12 U/M or OAC graduation.

ADMISSION: O.S.S.D. with six Grade 12 U/M or OAC courses including the following:

NEW CURRICULUM: Grade 12 U courses in: English and Advanced Functions and Introductory Calculus (MCB4U) with a minimum grade of 60 percent or higher in each of these courses.

OLD CURRICULUM: OAC courses in: English and Calculus with a minimum grade of 60 percent or higher in each of these courses.

NOTES:

1- ENG4U/EAE4U or English/Anglais OAC 1 is the preferred English.

2- Candidates who are 21 years of age and wish to be considered as a Mature Student, please refer to the Mature Student policy in front section of calendar. All applicants, however, must have Grade 12 U or OAC English and Calculus (or equivalent).

3- Ryerson will allow the mixing of U, M and OAC courses as applicable but comparable courses will not be double-counted. As well, Ryerson will not accept the “out of school” component of Grade 12 U/M co-op courses for admission consideration.

4- Subject to competition, candidates may be required to present averages/grades above the minimum.
