WKT 77A/B Intl Economics Internship Program
This work term is mandatory for students who have been accepted into the International Economics Extended Internship Option. The duration of the work term is not less than 12 months and not more than 16 months commencing in May and concluding no later than August 31st of the following year. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
Lab: 2 hrs.

WKT 88A/B Industrial Internship Program
An optional 16 month Work Term assignment for students in the Industrial and Mechanical Engineering programs. The selected students will have completed all the academic curricular requirements of the Third Year of the program, and achieved a clear standing. Course enrollment is conditional on the student obtaining and accepting an internship placement offer from an approved corporate partner. Interns will be visited as required by the course co-ordinator to assess their progress. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. Grade achieved at the successful completion of the assignment and the submission of an acceptable Work Term report is PSD.

WKT 89A/B Aerospace Work Term
An optional 12 to 16 month work assignment for students in the Aerospace Engineering program. WKT 99A/B Industrial Internship Program
Work Term, mandatory for students who have opted to participate in the program and have been placed with an industrial partner. The duration of the Work Term is not less than 12 months and not more than 16 months, normally commencing in May and concluding no later than August 31st of the following year. To be eligible to participate in the IIP, the student must have completed three years of the four year program of studies and be in good standing at the end of their third year. Students will be required to file a brief report by March 31st of their year in industry. The Department publishes the criteria to be met by the report. The program co-ordinator will attempt to visit the student at their place of work to ensure that the student is gaining significant industrial and professional experience during the Work Term. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
