EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS OUTSIDE OF CANADA

It is essential that the required subject prerequisites and grades for specific programs form part of the applicant’s academic background, especially in the last two years of secondary and/or post-secondary studies as required.

The following admission guidelines (subject to change) may assist in equating academic qualifications with the Ryerson admission requirements. Applicants from a country where English is not the first language are required to provide acceptable English proficiency score results. Refer to the “English Language” section of this calendar.

Applicants are required to achieve a high overall standing in their studies and to include the appropriate program subject prerequisites with high standing. Candidates are selected on the basis of their academic standing averages in relation to other candidates. Due to competition, candidates may be required to present averages/grades above the minimum. Refer to our International Student brochure for specific country requirements and other relevant information or visit: www.ryerson.ca/intlguide. These guidelines are for information purposes and subject to change.
