Friday, June 3 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Fall 2005 term. A $25 non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until September 9.
Week of June 20 Classes commence for The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, Spring/Summer 2005 term.
Friday, July 1 Canada Day (University closed).
Monday, July 4 Final date to clear all outstanding financial records prior to the 2005-2006 academic year, otherwise no further enrollment will be permitted in Undergraduate courses.
Friday, July 8 Final date to apply for Fall 2005 Convocation (no late fee). A non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until August 12.
Monday, August 1 Civic Holiday (University closed).
Friday, August 12 Final date to apply for Fall 2005 Convocation (with applicable non-refundable late fee).
Friday, August 26 Final date to cancel an Application to Graduate for Fall 2005 Convocation.
Monday, August 29 to Friday, September 2 Fall term Undergraduate enrollment and orientation activities. Continuing education enrollment continues until Saturday, September 10 (consult The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for continuing education courses).
Friday, September 2 Final date to petition for an Aegrotat grade for Spring/Summer 2005.
Friday, September 2 Final date to request missing Spring/Summer 2005 Undergraduate grades.
Friday, September 2 Final date to appeal Spring/Summer 2005 final Undergraduate grades or Academic Standing.
Monday, September 5 Labour Day (University closed).
Tuesday, September 6 Classes commence for full- and part-time Undergraduate programs. Note: for part-time programs, some courses will begin on Monday, September 12; see your Fall timetable for further information.
Friday, September 9 Final date for admission, re-admission or re-instatement to a full-time Undergraduate degree program or as a Special Student for the Fall 2005 term.
Friday, September 9 Final date for payment of fees for the academic year (Fall and Winter terms) for Undergraduate programs.
Friday, September 9 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Fall 2005 with the $25 non-refundable late fee. (Fall 2005 approvals exempt). No Fall term applications will be accepted after this date.
Monday, September 12 Classes commence for The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education courses for Fall 2005.
Friday, September 16 Final date to add Undergraduate courses, or change course sections for Fall 2005.
Friday, September 16 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program and be eligible for full refund of fees ($400 non-refundable for new approvals, full-time programs; $200 non-refundable for new approvals, part-time programs).
Friday, September 16 Final date to drop a Fall Undergraduate course(s) and be eligible for full refund of fees (if a course drop results in a lower fee range). Please refer to Refund Schedule, (consult The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for continuing education).
Friday, September 16 Final date to clear all outstanding graduation requirements (academic and financial) to be eligible for Fall 2005 Convocation.
Saturday, September 17 A 50% drop charge applies if a Fall Undergraduate course(s) drop results in a lower fee range. Please refer to Refund Schedule.
Saturday, September 24 Homecoming festivities.
Week of October 3 Course Request changes for the Winter 2006 term.
Friday, October 7 Final date to submit an appeal for OSAP funds for any trimester, co-op or other programs with a December year end.
Friday, October 7 Final date to submit OSAP application to be eligible to receive funding for the current September to April academic year. Applications submitted after this date will eligible to receive OSAP funding from the date the application was received.
Friday, October 7 Final date to drop a Fall Undergraduate course(s) and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable. A 50% drop charge applies if a course drop results in a lower fee range. Friday, October 7 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program and be eligible for a 50% refund of Fall 2005 fees.
Saturday, October 8 A 100% drop charge applies if a course drop results in a lower fee range. No fees refunded.
Monday, October 10 Thanksgiving (University closed). Classes missed will be made up on an individual course basis.
Week of October 31 Fall 2005 Convocation.
Friday, November 4 Final date to submit an application for re-admission or re-instatement into an Undergraduate program for the Winter 2006 term (for guaranteed consideration).
Friday, November 4 A $100 charge will be levied for each Fall 2005 Undergraduate course or grade (or previous term's final grade) added to a student's academic record after this date.
Friday, November 4 Final date to apply for Transfer Credits for Winter 2006. A $25 non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until January 20, 2006.
Friday, November 11 Final date to officially drop a Fall Undergraduate term course(s) in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in Fall courses after this date will result in a failing grade, (consult The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education Calendar for applicable dates and deadlines for continuing education courses).
Friday, November 11 Final date to withdraw from an Undergraduate program for the Fall 2005 term in good Academic Standing (no refund of Fall 2005 fees).
Friday, December 2 Classes end for full- and part-time Undergraduate programs. Note: for part-time program students, some classes may continue until Monday, December 19.
Monday, December 5 to Saturday, December 17 Fall term Undergraduate examination period, including Saturdays, December 10 and December 17, and Sunday, December 11.
Week of December 12 Classes end for The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, except for Monday classes which will end on Monday, December 19.
Friday, December 16 Deadline for clearing any Fall 2005 and prior outstanding debt, library book/fine, or other borrowed property in excess of $10 to ensure that Fall 2005 grades are not withheld.
Saturday, December 17 Official end of term for Undergraduate programs.
Monday, December 26 to Monday, January 2 Mid-Year (Christmas) Break, the University will close at the end of Friday, December 23 and re-open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 3.
