RYERSON CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION AND INTERNSHIP

Ryerson University offers a unique co-operative education program in the disciplines of Biology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Contemporary Science, Information Technology Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Public Health and Safety.

Co-operative education serves to integrate academic studies with career-related work experience with relevant companies and agencies. Co-operative education gives students the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience, to earn competitive salaries that partially offset the cost of their education, and to help clarify career objectives. The co-op experience serves to enhance opportunities for full-time employment upon graduation.

All work terms are graded on a pass/fail basis.

The following table shows the sequence of academic and work terms for the following programs: Applied Chemistry and Biology, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Public Health and Safety

F = Fall , W = Winter, S = Spring/Summer, 1st—8th= Academic Semester, Co-op = Work Term
