All applicants note:
- Before completing either the OUAC 101 or 105 application, the application instructions should be read carefully. The program code(s) that describes most accurately the program(s) chosen should be selected. The program codes are listed on the OUAC 101 or 105 forms and the Compass On-Line Application;
- A student who has applied via the OUAC will receive an Acknowledgment/Amendment Form as soon as the OUAC has processed the application. This form must be used to make biographical and academic status changes to the original application. If any revisions to the application are made, Ryerson will be notified of the applicable changes shortly after the OUAC receives the Amendment Form. Although all amendments are important to the processing of each application, changes to program choice, surname, mailing, e-mail and home addresses are of significant importance and should be reported to the OUAC via the Acknowledgment/Amendment Form as soon as the situation arises. During the Discretionary Period, commencing August 1, changes must be made in writing through both the OUAC and Ryerson’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions;
- Students who have applied on a Ryerson application form must notify the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in writing of any changes in application, address, e-mail, telephone numbers and/or other information as soon as they arise.
- Students who have applied through the OUAC must notify the OUAC of any changes in application, address, e-mail, telephone numbers and/or other information as soon as they arise.
As Ryerson will also communicate to candidates via e-mail, e-mail addresses must be kept current. Applicants should ensure that they have edited/updated their SPAM filters to prevent important and time-sensitive e-mail communications from being filtered out as SPAM.
NOTE: Changes (e.g. to application/amendments/condition extensions, etc.) may not be made verbally, either in person or by telephone. Most communication from Ryerson is date sensitive. Applicants who fail to respond within stated time frames may have their application or Offer of Admission cancelled.
