Students are advised that they can have formal status in only one Ryerson degree or diploma program (including Special Student studies) at a given time. When a student applies for and is offered a transfer from one Ryerson program to another, the student forfeits their status in the original program.
A request to transfer to another Ryerson program is made by completing a Ryerson application form available from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions or at: http://ryerson.ca/ualca/apply/forms.html. Submit the form, with the $70 application fee (subject to change), directly to Ryerson's Cashier's Office. You must include your Ryerson Student Number with the application form or a delay in processing your application may occur.
Students must obtain written permission from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to transfer from one Ryerson program to another. Requests for transfer will be considered only if students fulfil the admission requirements for the program of their choice and only if openings exist in that program. Transfer requests (including supporting documents, where required) will be given equal consideration provided they are received by March 1st. Requests received after this date will be considered subject to space availability. There is no guarantee that a student will be able to transfer to another program. Students requesting a transfer will compete with all other candidates for admission and availability of space.
Students who are under academic suspension from a Ryerson program are not eligible for admission to another similar Ryerson program until their period of suspension has been served.
