This course is designed to give students an overview of both security analysis and portofolio management. The course covers the valuation of common stock, treasury bills and bonds, the trade-off between risk and return, the efficient market hypothesis, modern portfolio theory, equilibrium pricing relationships, and the evaluation of portfolio performance. Playing an investment challenge game is a requirement of the course.

In addition, the concepts, structure, benefits and problems of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions are examined from a business perspective, as well as from a technical Information Technology perspective.
