OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) works collaboratively with the University community to strengthen Ryerson’s international partnerships and to expand the existing range of international experiences for students and faculty. OIA provides services to the academic departments as they undertake international activities compatible with the University’s mandate and their respective academic priorities.

University interests and support for the development of Ryerson’s Mobility Programs has resulted in the establishment of bilateral academic linkage agreements with institutions in the Americas, Europe, Australia and Asia. These, together with study abroad programs and field camps, facilitate experiential learning for Ryerson students, and reciprocally provide Canadian academic and cultural opportunities for international students.

The establishment of strategic Canadian and international partnerships, along with involvement in the public and private sector consortia, supports Ryerson’s participation in international co-operation projects; the delivery of international education and training services; and fosters the development of graduate programs and collaborative international research and creative activity.

OIA closely works with the University’s five Faculties and The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, as well as academic, administrative and service departments including, the Office of the Registrar and International Student Services, in furthering the University’s internationalization goals.

OIA’s offices are at Eric Palin Hall, 4th Fl, 87 Gerrard Street E. General Inquiries should be directed to Ms. Kathy Peter, Departmental Secretary, email address: kpeter@ryerson.ca Telephone: (416) 979-5026.
