Friday, May 29Final date for returning students, admitted prior to Fall 2009, to apply for Transfer Credits.
Monday, June 1   First date to apply to graduate on RAMSS for the Fall 2009 Convocation.
Week of June 15Classes commence for The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education, Spring/Summer 2009 term.
Wednesday, July 1Canada Day (University closed).
Thursday, July 2Final date to clear all fees and financial matters prior to the 2009-2010 academic year, otherwise no further enrollment will be permitted in undergraduate classes.
Friday, July 17Final date to apply for graduation on RAMSS for the Fall 2009 Convocation (no late fee). A non-refundable late fee will apply after this date until August 21.
Monday, July 20First day of open enrollment for classes offered through The Chang School.
Friday, July 31   Special Day (University closed).
Monday, August 3Civic Holiday (University closed).
Friday, August 7 Final date for new students to apply for Transfer Credit for the start of the Fall 2009/Winter 2010 academic year. After this date no applications will be assessed for Fall 2009. Applications received after this date will be assessed for the start of the Winter 2010 term (exception: students approved after August 7).
Tuesday, August 18 Final date to submit an application for admission, re-admission or re-instatement to a full- or part-time undergraduate degree program or as a Special Student for the Fall 2009 term.
Friday, August 21Final date to apply in person for the Fall 2009 Convocation (with a non-refundable late application fee).
Monday, August 31 to Friday, September 4Orientation and Enrollment activities for the Fall term (undergraduate full- and part-time program students).
Monday, September 7 Labour Day (University closed).
Tuesday, September 8Classes commence for full- and part-time undergraduate programs. Note: for full- and part-time program students accessing classes through The Chang School, some classes will begin on Monday, September 14; see your Fall timetable for further information.
Friday, September 11Final date for full payment of undergraduate tuition fees for the Fall 2009/Winter 2010 academic year.

Students who choose to defer payment of all or part of their Winter 2010 undergraduate tuition  fees until after September 30, will be assessed a $70 (subject to change) Deferral fee.  Late fees will be assessed on unpaid Fall 2009 undergraduate tuititon fees as of September 12, 2009 and, on unpaid Winter 2010 undergraduate tuition fees as of January 6, 2010.
Friday, September 11Final date to clear all outstanding academic and financial graduation requirements to be eligible for the Fall 2009 Convocation.
Friday, September 11Final date to cancel an Application to Graduate for the Fall 2009 Convocation.
Friday, September 11Final date to change name to appear on all Fall graduation information (including award).
Saturday, September 12Final date of open enrollment for classes offered through The Chang School.
Monday, September 14The Chang School classes commence for Fall 2009.
Friday, September 18    Final date to request missing Spring/Summer 2009 undergraduate grades.
Friday, September 18    Final date to appeal Spring/Summer 2009 final undergraduate grades or Academic Standing.
Friday, September 18Final date to add or change undergraduate classes, in Fall 2009 for full- and part-time undergraduate program students.
Undergraduate program students who enroll in The Chang School classes and are assessed individual Chang School class fees should consult The Chang School calendar for appropriate deadlines.
Friday, September 18Final date to withdraw from an undergraduate program and be eligible for the majority of fees to be refunded ($400 non-refundable charge for Fall admission, re-admission, or re-instatement approvals, full-time programs; $200 non-refundable charge for Fall admission, re-admission or re-instatement approvals, part-time programs).
Friday, September 18

Final date to drop an undergraduate class to be eligible for a full refund of fees (if a course drop results in a lower fee range), for full- and part-time undergraduate program students. Refer to Refund Schedule in this calendar.
Undergraduate program students who enroll in The Chang School classes and are assessed individual Chang School class fees should consult The Chang School calendar for appropriate deadlines.

Week of September 28Course Intention changes for the Winter 2010 term must be completed by October 2.
Friday, October 9Final date to drop a Fall undergraduate class and be eligible for a 50% refund, if applicable, for full- and part-time undergraduate program students. A 50% drop charge applies if a class drop results in a lower fee range. Refer to Refund Schedule in this calendar.
Undergraduate program students who enroll in The Chang School classes and are assessed individual Chang School class fees should consult The Chang School calendar for appropriate deadlines.
Friday, October 9Final date to withdraw from an undergraduate program and be eligible for a 50% refund of Fall 2009 fees.
Saturday, October 10A 100% drop charge applies (no fees refunded) if a Fall class drop results in a lower fee range for full- and part-time undergraduate program students.
Undergraduate program students who enroll in The Chang School classes and are assessed individual Chang School class fees should consult The Chang School calendar for appropriate deadlines.
Monday, October 12Thanksgiving (University closed). Monday classes missed will be made up on Friday, December 4.
Friday, October 16Final date to submit an appeal for OSAP funds for any trimester, co-op or other programs with a December year end.
Wednesday, October 21 and Thursday, October 22Fall 2009 Convocation
Thursday, October 22Final date to submit an OSAP application to be eligible to receive funding for the current September to April academic year. Applications submitted after this date will be eligible to receive OSAP funding from the date the application is received.
Monday, November 2Final date to submit an application for admission, re-admission or re-instatement into an undergraduate full- or part-time degree program for the Winter 2010 term (for guaranteed consideration).
Monday, November 2First date to apply on RAMSS to graduate at the Spring 2010 Convocation.
Friday, November 13Final date to officially drop a Fall undergraduate term class(es) in good Academic Standing (no refund of fees). Non-attendance in Fall classes after this date will result in a failing grade for full- and part-time undergraduate program students.
Undergraduate program students who enroll in The Chang School classes and are assessed individual Chang School class fees should consult The Chang School calendar for appropriate deadlines.
Friday, November 13Final date to withdraw from an undergraduate program for the Fall 2009 term in good Academic Standing (no refund of Fall 2009 fees).
Friday, November 27Last meeting date for Fall 2009 undergraduate classes scheduled on Fridays.
Friday, November 27Final date for students to apply for Transfer Credit assessment for the start of the Winter 2010 term. Applications received after this date will be assessed for the start of the Spring 2010 term.
Tuesday, December 1Final date to apply for admission, re-admission or re-instatement to a full- or part-time undergraduate degree program, or as a Special Student for the Winter 2010 term.
Friday, December 4Classes end for full- and part-time undergraduate programs. Note: for part-time program students (or full-time program students) accessing classes through The Chang School, some continuing education classes may continue until December 19.
Friday, December 4Classes normally scheduled on Mondays will meet for the last class on this day.
Friday, December 4Final date to pick up OSAP loan documents with a December year end.

Monday, December 7 to Saturday, December 19

Fall term undergraduate examination period, including Saturdays, December 12 and December 19.
Week of December 14The Chang School classes end.
Friday, December 11Deadline for clearing any Fall 2009 and prior outstanding debt, library book/fine, or other borrowed property in excess of $10 to ensure that Fall 2009 grades are not withheld.
Saturday, December 19Official end of term for undergraduate programs.
Thursday, December 24 to Sunday, January 3Mid-Year Break, the University will close at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, December 23. The University will re-open at 8 am on Monday, January 4.

* At the time of publication, fee payment policy was under review and tuition fees for Fall 2009/Winter 2010 were pending approval.
