Bicycle Parking

The Bicycle Room offers students, faculty and staff a secure indoor facility to park or store their bicycles. The Room features 65 vertical rack spaces, bicycle pumps, lights, and security cameras and is regularly patrolled by Ryerson Security.  It can be accessed with a Ryerson OneCard during the hours of 6:30 am to 11:00 pm, seven days a week.

Community members must apply for a permit for the use of the Room.  The permits are free of charge and are issued on a first come first served basis.  The permit options are 12 months (September to August), 8 months (September to April), or 4 months (May to August).  Users must apply for a new permit for each school year.

New racks are part of a campus-wide bicycle program developed in conjunction with the City of Toronto’s Bicycle Friendly Campuses Project.

The racks are made of heavy-duty stainless steel, and are anchored by concrete blocks. The design makes it easy to lock both the wheel and the frame to the rack.
