Bicycle Parking

To promote bicycle ridership on campus, Ryerson has installed a large number of bicycle posts and racks throughout the campus, which can accommodate 1,000 bicycles.

In addition, Ryerson has recently completed a new, secure indoor bicycle storage facility located at the rear of 110 Bond Street (accessible from Victoria Lane). This facility has a capacity of 64 bicycles. Ryerson won two awards from the City of Toronto Bicycle Friendly Business Awards for this facility. It has card access for security. The cost to use this service is $10 per month and can be arranged through the OneCard Office.

New racks are part of a campus-wide bicycle program developed in conjunction with the City of Toronto’s Bicycle Friendly Campuses Project.

The racks are made of heavy-duty stainless steel, and are anchored by concrete blocks. The design makes it easy to lock both the wheel and the frame to the rack.
