The Planning group maintains accurate records on space usage, room utilization and space standards.

This information is used to support:

• space-oriented decision making for the university community; and
• external reporting to the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and the Council of Ontario Universities.

Over the past several years, Campus Planning & Facilities has conducted comprehensive audits of the use of classrooms, labs, and studios for the senior administration. Going forward, these data will be used to promote ways to make space utilization more efficient and effective.
