Career & Job Fairs

Career & Job Fairs provide a venue for employers and students to share information and explore career opportunities through employment (full-time, part-time, contract, freelance), internships, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, work-study, education, etc. If you have any questions about any of the fairs, please contact Ian Ingles at 416-979-5000, ext 6620 or iingles@ryerson.ca.

Part-time Job Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Tuesday, September 17, 2013

This job fair is the perfect opportunity to recruit for your part-time staff needs. Recruit for permanent part-time or for the holiday season! Space is limited, be sure to register early for this one.

Target Audience: All students who are seeking immediate or seasonal part-time jobs.

$350 Sponsor, $150 Basic Registration (All prices are plus tax)

Engineering Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Tuesday, September 24, 2013

Meet students from a variety of fields, eager to discuss career opportunities with you. The students attending will be tomorrow's architects as well as chemical, civil, mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer and industrial engineers.

Programs Targeted include all of the programs that fall under the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (feas.ryerson.ca) as well as related Continuing Education and graduate level (Masters and Ph.D) programs.

*NEW* - Attend the newly created Careers in Science Fair on Oct. 2 free of charge if you attend the Engineering Fair or any of our other Career or Job fairs during the 2013 - 14 academic year.  The Careers in Science Fair will target students from Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry as well as all other programs in the Faculty of Science (ryerson.ca/science).

Careers in Management & Public Sector Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, September 26, 2013

The Management & Public Sector Career Fair is a general fair open to Ryerson students from all faculties and programs. Ryerson students are encouraged to attend the fair if they have an interest in exploring careers related to business, government, profit as well as non-profit sectors.

$600 Sponsor, $300 Basic Registration (All prices are plus tax)

Free for government and public sector employers that register for any other Ryerson Career or Job Fair during the 2012-2013 school year.

Careers in Science Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Wednesday, October 2, 2013

New this year, the Career Development & Employment Centre is offering the Faculty of Science Career Fair for employers looking to recruit students and new grads from the programs that fall under this new faculty at Ryerson University.  As a special offer to employers, registration for this fair is free of charge if your organization attends any of the other fairs organized by the Career Development & Employment Centre for the 2013 - 14 school year.  Programs that are included in this faculty include: Computer Science, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Financial Mathematics.  For details on these and other Faculty of Science degree programs, please go to:  ryerson.ca/science

Graduate School & Specialized Studies Fair

Due to the overwhelming popularity of this event with schools and organizations looking to promote educational opportunities to Ryerson students, we have expanded this fair over 2 days based on the following themes.

Oct. 29 Program focus: MBA & Business, Law, Medicine, Veterinary, Pharmaceutical, Alternative therapies

Oct. 30 Program focus: Graduate schools, Colleges (post degree diplomas), Teacher certification, Study abroad

Summer Work Experience Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, February 6, 2014

Location: 55 Gould Street - The Student Campus Centre

This fair will provide an excellent opportunity to meet with a broad range of Ryerson students from various years of study and programs. Open to students from all programs and all years for opportunities through summer employment, internships, entrepreneurial opportunities, volunteerism, etc.

Target Audience: All students seeking summer jobs to help supplement their education and living expenses. Positions vary in tasks required and duration.

$300 Sponsor, $150 Basic Registration, $75 for Small, Non-Profit Organizations with less than 30 employees (All prices are plus tax)

Grab-A-Grad Job Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, March 27, 2014

This job fair is a chance for employers to recruit grads from all programs at Ryerson (both our Undergrad and Graduate levels). Since the fair is just before students finish their exams, it is a great time to Grab a Grad before they leave Ryerson Campus!

Targeted: All graduating undergraduate and students seeking immediate full-time professional/career jobs. Non-graduating students are encouraged to attend this fair to gather information regarding part-time or future opportunities.

$650 Sponsor, $300 Basic Registration, $100 for Small, Non-Profit Organizations with less than 30 employees (All prices are plus tax)
