Career & Job Fairs provide a venue for employers and students to share information and explore career opportunities through employment (full-time, part-time, contract, freelance), internships, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, work-study, education, etc. If you have any questions about any of the fairs, please contact Ian Ingles at 416-979-5000, ext 6620 or iingles@ryerson.ca.

Part-time Job Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, September 15, 2011

This job fair is the perfect opportunity to recruit for your part-time staff needs. Recruit for permanent part-time or for the holiday season! Space is limited, be sure to register early for this one.

Target Audience: All students who are seeking immediate or seasonal part-time jobs.

$350 Sponsor, $200 Basic Registration (All prices are plus tax)

Focus on Business Career Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, September 22, 2011

The emphasis of this Career Fair is to provide a venue for employers and business students to explore career opportunites and share information.

Programs Targeted: All Business Management majors, Geographic Analysis, Hospitality and Tourism, Information Technology Management, International Economics and Finance, Retail Management

$600 Sponsor, $350 Basic Registration (All prices are plus tax)

Engineering, Science & Hi-tech Career Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, September 29, 2011

Meet students from a variety of fields, eager to discuss career opportunities with you. The students attending will be tomorrow's chemical, civil, mechanical, aerospace, electrical and industrial engineers; computer software developers and programmers, and information technology managers; as well as chemical, biological and nutritional scientists.

Programs Targeted: All Engineering majors, Architectural and Building Science, Chemistry and Biology, Computer Science, Environmental Applied Science and Management, Mathematics and Applications, Medical Physics, Molecular Science and related Continuing Education and Masters degree programs.

$600 Sponsor, $350 Basic Registration (All prices are plus tax)

Government & Public Sector Career Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, October 6, 2011

Due to the increased demand from students looking for careers in government and the public sector field, the Career Development & Employment Centre has created the Government & Public Sector Fair. Employers from Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments as well as other public sector organizations are welcome to attend.

This Career Fair is open to all Ryerson students looking to launch a career in government, and the public sector.

$350 Sponsor, $200 Basic Registration (All prices are plus tax)

Free for government and public sector employers that register for any other Ryerson Career or Job Fair during the 2010-2011 school year.

Graduate School & Specialized Studies Fair

Due to the overwhelming popularity of this event with schools and organizations looking to promote educational opportunities to Ryerson students, we have expanded this fair over 2 days based on the following themes.

Oct. 26 Program focus: MBA & Business, Law, Medicine, Veterinary, Pharmaceutical, Alternative therapies

Oct. 27 Program focus: Graduate schools, Colleges (post degree diplomas), Teacher certification, Study abroad

Summer Work Experience Fair

11:00AM - 2:30PM Thursday, February 9, 2012

Location: 55 Gould Street - The Student Campus Centre

This fair will provide an excellent opportunity to meet with a broad range of Ryerson students from various years of study and programs. Open to students from all programs and all years for opportunities through summer employment, internships, entrepreneurial opportunities, volunteerism, etc.

Target Audience: All students seeking summer jobs to help supplement their education and living expenses. Positions vary in tasks required and duration.

$300 Sponsor, $150 Basic Registration, $75 for Small, Non-Profit Organizations with less than 30 employees (All prices are plus tax)

Grab-A-Grad Job Fair

11:00AM - 3:00PM Thursday, March 29, 2012

This job fair is a chance for employers to recruit grads from all programs at Ryerson (both our Undergrad and Graduate levels). Since the fair is just before students finish their exams, it is a great time to Grab a Grad before they leave Ryseron Campus!

Targeted: All graduating undergraduate and students seeking immediate full-time professional/career jobs. Non-graduating students are encouraged to attend this fair to gather information regarding part-time or future opportunities.

$600 Sponsor, $300 Basic Registration, $100 for Small, Non-Profit Organizations with less than 30 employees (All prices are plus tax)
