Book a 1:1 Appointment

We recommend that you attend a workshop or tutorial before you book a 1:1 appointment with a career education specialist; common career-related questions can often be answered by attending one of these sessions. Your basic preparation will allow us to focus on customization and specialization during your 1:1 appointment.

If you cannot find an appointment time with Tang that fits your schedule, you are welcome to book an appointment with another Career Education Specialist through the Ryerson Career Centre.

Faculty Specific Supports & Events

Resume | Cover Letter | Job Portfolio Drop-Ins

Drop-in appointments are available during the fall and winter semester on a first come, first serve basis for resume, cover letter or job portfolio reviews. Each drop-in appointment is 15 minutes in length. Only one document/item will be reviewed per session (e.g. either a resume or cover letter, not both).

Please bring a printed copy of the document(s) you would like reviewed for your drop-in appointment. No registration is required. From September to April, drop-in times for students in the Faculty of Communication and Design will be indicated on the events calendar.

We organize a variety of special sessions, workshops, and events throughout the year to address the needs of students from different faculties and interest groups.

For more information on these events (e.g. dates, venues, registration link), please visit the Events Calendar.

If you are a faculty member, staff, or representative from a course union/student group looking to consult or collaborate with us in delivering career programming, please contact Tang.
