Career Centre Student Staff Hiring 2016 banner

We begin our hiring process in January in preparation for the staff we will need for the summer and the next academic year. For most of the student leader positions with the Ryerson Career Centre, we hire a large number of students all at one time. Since this takes quite a bit of time and involves a lot of people, we set out a schedule in advance that everyone can follow. Now you know what to expect and what deadlines you need to meet.

Application Dates & Deadlines

Applications for Summer 2017 and Fall/Winter 2017-2018 positions at the Career Centre are now closed.

Interview Dates

Hiring carousel interviews are an opportunity for us to meet you, and to see how you work independently and in a group. We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before (minimum) to check-in. You must attend one of these carousels.

Career Boost/Work Study Application Process Dates

All of the Career Boost (formerly known as Work Study) jobs are associated with Ryerson University's Career Boost program. If you get a job offer of a Career Boost position for Summer 2017 and/or for Fall 2017/Winter 2018 BEFORE May 9, 2017, it will be a conditional offer.

The main condition under which we will offer you this positions is this: it will only become a firm offer of employment once you can show us that you have been given official Career Boost approval status. It is your responsibility to apply for Career Boost approval status ASAP.

Do your research now. Don't wait for an offer. Know whether you will be eligible before you apply. For more information about the Career Boost program, click here.

We will post the timelines here once they go public, but you can always find that information on the Career Boost web page.
