CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table bellow for the particular system/application.

    Oracle Databases will be moved from upkprod.prodint.ryerson.ca to upkdb.prodint.ryerson.ca. Application will need to be reconfigured to point to new source.

    Move Wireless Access Points in Atrium on Bay to the TRS AP groups and controller configuration.
    Wireless Access Points will be down for 5 minutes due to reboot.
  • Sunday March 26, 2017
    Upgrade hub probe in production NMS server to v7.9 (RFC-41)
  • Wednesday March 29, 2017 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
    Upgrade of Esa officelinx voicemail.  There should be no impact to the system.

    Apply Operating System patches to two HR server complexes, (Server names are provided in Jira.) Test/Dev environments (RFC-25)

    VMs will be kept  for 2 months.
    Backups  will be kept for 6 months
