CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table bellow for the particular system/application.

Additional Scheduled Changes

  • Thursday May 25, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
    Patch to be applied to all financial systems. They will not be available during this time. (RFC-122)
  • Thursday May 25, 2017 @ 6:00pm  to Friday May 26, 2017 @ 6:00am
    IT Security will be conducting external network vulnerability scans on the Production environment.
    No impact anticipated but all parties are encouraged to report any performance issues with production environment.
  • Monday May 29, 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
    Deploy new DC and decommission.

    SCOS upgrade of Production VMware storage.

    We will turn on the D2L Brightspace daylight interface, a responsive design interface which will make it better to view D2L courses on a variety of devices. The change details on how this may impact users can be found on this webpage: http://www.ryerson.ca/courses/about/daylight/
