Using 2-Factor Authentication for CAS-ified Applications

These are the applications which require Central Authentication Service (CAS) in order for users to access. This is applicable to all supported mobile devices as well as OTV Code generator.

  1. Go to the my.ryerson portal and click on the big button Log in to my.ryerson

  2. After the username and password are accepted, another screen will be shown asking you to use your one-time verification code.

    NOTE: The verification code is the code you are supposed to get from the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device each time you log in. 

  3. Click in the box for I trust this browser on this device ... option, if you don't want to enter a verification code every time you log in to CAS for 30 days.

  4. You can also click on the question mark beside this option to see an expanded explanation as shown below:

  5. The One-Time Verification form contains some helpful links. Please use them to find out more.

  6. You are now ready to use the my.ryerson portal and applications.
