Research

Our research is targeted toward the technological advancement, economic growth and prosperity of Canada and the world. The faculty carry out active research in the following areas:

• Wastewater and Treatment Technologies 
• Polymer and Process Engineering
• Green Fuels and Renewable Energy
• Biomaterials and Nanobiomaterials

The department has good infrastructure of resources and experimental facilities supporting the research.

The faculty also engage in the phenomenological investigation of various chemical engineering processes of industrial interest through extensive mathematical modeling, simulation, optimization and control.
